About Me and the Vision

Hey ya’ll!! My name’s Zach Robel and I’m the namesake of the Lord Remembers Ministry!! I’m 28 years old, and have served doing missions work in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, Hawaii, Texas, Ghana, Mongolia, Italy, Greece, France, New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, and I intend to do it even more places in the future! My name “Zachary” means “The Lord Remembers”, and it speaks to how God always remembers the forgotten ones, which I have experienced very personally and tangibly in my life! Growing up in school I was always a lonely, rejected outcast who never thought I could accomplish anything in life, but in 2014 when God met me in a thunderstorm, He helped me realize He wanted to do BIG things with a little guy like me! In the years since, I have seen Him work in radical ways through me, and now it’s my heart to share with all people how even if they may feel forgotten and unimportant to the world around them, THE LORD REMEMBERS THEM and has purpose for their lives!! The vision God has given me for my future in ministry involves 3 key pillars which are:

1. Prayer & Worship - Everything we do flows from the place of prayer and worship, so I highly encourage and facilitate on the ground experiences where people can encounter the Lord’s love in these ways as they are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL!!

2. Partnering with Others - We weren’t made to carry God’s kingdom alone, so God has shown me how important it is to come alongside both local and global ministries and individuals in the kingdom work they are already doing, both physically joining alongside them & financially supporting them! One of the biggest things on Jesus’ heart is that His body would be UNITED, and that is huge for me too!!

3. Pioneering New Creative Initiatives - From the place of prayer, we are stirred to use the gifts God has given us to create songs, stories, podcasts, Bible studies, worship nights, and more which give God the glory and help people discover truths about how the Lord feels about them! Currently, my greatest expression of this is in my pioneering efforts to start the Oasis of Hope House of Prayer in my hometown, and I also release music and podcasts which you can find out more about all over the website!

The Seal of Remembrance

The Seal of Remembrance is the logo of the Lord Remembers Ministry and it features 7 key aspects that are essential to remember in our pursuit of the Lord; our identity as children of the kingdom, His loyalty and faithfulness to us, His Holy Spirit, the freedom that we have in Christ, the endurance we are given to make it through difficult times, the resurrection and transformed life that He invites us to walk in with Him, and the unchanging, never-ending, unrelenting love of God which never fails. At the center of the seal is the heart to represent love, and the cross, to indicate that all of these blessings can only come into our lives because of two things; firstly, they can only be given through Christ's sacrifice, and secondly, they can only be received by our surrender. Daily, we must remember to lay our lives down and only then can we find these 7 gifts that the Lord wants to so graciously give to us. The Lord has taken me on quite an EPIC Journey to discover each one of these beautiful things, and one day I'll tell the whole story, but for now, let this seal simply act as a reminder that everything centers around His love and our surrender, and it's all from Him and for Him! -Zach
