Chris & Nurlyn Elli Bendijo
Home Country: The Philippines
Currently Based in: Tokyo, Japan
Long-Term Prospects: To Be Frontrunners in Seeing Revival Break Out in Japan!!
“Chris and Nurlyn are a PASSIONATE, FIERY couple that burns bright for seeing revival break out in Japan! Japan is one of the most unreached nations, with nearly 99% of Japan having no understanding of the gospel of Jesus, and Chris & Nurlyn have a huge heart for seeing this change!! The 2 of them recently married and Nurlyn actually moved to Japan before Chris because it took longer for Chris’ visa to get approved, but now they are together in the nation and are an essential part of the Awakening Tokyo movement! Awakening Tokyo is where I originally met Nurlyn and it was so powerful seeing her zeal for prayer & worship, she even embraces flag worship & worship dance as well! Chris is a pastor himself, and Nurlyn also has a powerful online ministry known as “Beloved Nurlyn” where she shares online encouragements and reminders of what it looks like to whole-heartedly pursue and be loved by Jesus! Chris is currently looking to attend Awakening Asia School of Ministry, so the support we give helps enable him to do that! Bethanie Clopton
Hometown: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Currently Based in: Wheaton, Illinois
Long-Term Prospects: To Move Overseas to France as a Long-Term Missionary
“Bethanie is someone I met during my time attending Bethany Global University in Minnesota, and her heart for the French World has been burning brightly for many years since then. At Bethany, she was always one of the most passionate fiery prayer warriors and would boldly lead sets in the Furnace Prayer Room engaging others in intercession for the nations! She did her overseas internship with BGU in Marseille, France and has taken subsequent vision trips out to the nation being involved in other cities including Strasbourg and Montélimar as well! She also has a history of serving multiple times at Camp des Cimes, a French summer camp in the mountains! Bethanie is currently living & working in the Chicago area as she continues faithfully in the process of paying off college and waiting on the Lord for the perfect opportunity to launch to France in the future!” - Zach
Isaiah & Anna Gonzales
Homelands: Texas & England respectively
Currently Based in: Tauranga, New Zealand
Long-Term Prospects: To Be Frontrunners in the Worship & Prayer movement in New Zealand and wherever else God may call them!
“Isaiah and Anna are such an incredible vibrant couple with deep passion for the Lord and for one another! They met through YWAM Furnace NZ in Tauranga, and though they started simply as friends, it evolved to something so much more!! I personally met them through my School of Worship at YWAM Furnace, where Anna acted as one of our main instructors as well as the main worship leader for weekly 2 hour Wednesday night worship sets, and Isaiah was my guitar teacher during this time as well!! Together, the 2 of them have taken leadership roles in not only the School of Worship, but also the One Thing Internship that YWAM Furnace offers, and when they’re not helping in the schools, they are key leaders in the prayer movement in New Zealand.! They have also written and recorded powerful songs together as a married couple, some of which will be releasing on the major music platforms soon! Truly they’re a couple wholly after God’s heart and our support for them will help sew into the global worship & prayer movement in a powerful way! There’s even rumors that one day they might… “have a baby”… we’ll have to see haha.” - Zach
Jaimy Kepa
Home Country: New Zealand (Aotearoa!!)
Currently Based in: Tauranga, New Zealand
Long-Term Prospects: Serving God wherever He leads, whether in YWAM contexts, through pursuing nursing, by launching to the nations, or by sharing His truth and love among her own people, the Māori people.
“Jaimy Kepa is earnestly one of the most magnificent people I have ever met. The joy of the Lord that she radiates with her laughter is absolutely contagious and she also has such deep and profound insights on the Lord from her personal experiences with Him. Her tears move people and her words change people, and she is full of deep ambitions to see people come to know their identities as children of God, specifically in her people group, the Māoris. I met Jaimy during my School of Worship at YWAM Furnace NZ and meeting her helped me to see the Māori people in such a powerful light. Jaimy is truly someone who champions and reflects what it means to maintain her cultural identity as a Māori while also being an amazing reflection of Christ’s character and love. She currently staffs with YWAM Furnace NZ and recently finished leading a One Thing Internship. In the future she is deciding whether to stay with YWAM and lead more outreaches and schools or if she wants to pursue nursing and possibly medical missions in the future. I’m confident wherever Jaimy ends up going in life, she will be an amazing reflection of Jesus to everyone she encounters and our support for her will do great things! She is also incredibly gifted in the areas of worship leadership and songwriting, and some of her songs will be dropping on Spotify soon! Her and I actually already released one song that we wrote during our outreach in Japan known as “Better than Cheese” and it’s a silly song based on Psalm 23 that emphasizes the power of Jesus being with us, and how it’s the BEST thing, even better than cheese! Enock & Katie Midodzi
Homelands: Ghana & Minnesota respectively
Currently Based in: Tamale, Ghana
Long-Term Prospects: Bringing the kingdom in Ghana in many ways, specifically in the area of Montessori education!
“I have known Katie since she attended Bethany Global University and was in the class ahead of me, and we had some overlap of time in Ghana together, which is where she met her soon to be husband, Enock! Enock is a missionary and Katie developed such a deep passion and zeal for Ghana on her 16 month outreach here that she has spent the many years since working on being able to move back! In July 2024 she will return and marry Enock in August, and then they will be doing powerful kingdom work out here in many ways, but one specifically is Katie has always had a heart for Montessori and there are initiatives to start up some Montessori schools out here in Ghana that she is very likely to be part of! Any support sent this way will greatly equip this new couple for an incredible future of kingdom impact in Africa together!” - Zach
Francis Pelu Nubuake
Home Country: Ghana
Currently Based in: Accra, Ghana
Long-Term Prospects: To start a school for underprivileged children in Ghana and to continue church planting in Ghana as well!
“Francis is one of the most joyful and radiant men of God I have ever met! He was the leader of GlobeServe church in Tamale while I was overseas in Ghana, and those 7 months serving alongside him were an absolute delight! He has suffered a very difficult childhood and has an amazing testimony of having overcome crazy situations to now be where he is today, living in Accra and pioneering church planting movements as well as working actively towards his dream of starting a school for underprivileged street children in Ghana! He recently told me that every time we send $10 it allows for him to purchase 15 more bricks for the building of the school for underprivileged children! Francis also has an amazing wife named Angela and takes care of a girl named Eugenia as well! He has a huge heart for helping children find a place where they can belong and will do everything he can to help make a difference in their lives and to let them know about Jesus and His transforming power & love!” - Zach
Allyson Schrock

Currently Based in: Tauranga, New Zealand
Long-Term Prospects: To continue serving the Lord through worship and possibly to eventually work with those in sex-trafficking
“Allyson did her Discipleship Training School with YWAM in Tyler, Texas and had a powerful outreach in Tanzania which you can see pictured here! From there, she went on to do the School of Worship at YWAM Furnace NZ which is where I met her!! Allyson is a person that is so gifted in listening; she doesn’t say much, but when she speaks up her words always carry such powerful wisdom and her voice in worship is equally powerful. While I was at the School of Worship, Allyson and I were in a band with our fellow classmates Katie, Marise, and Isabella called the “Shalomie Homies”, and we would lead worship sets together where Allyson would always shine whether on the keys or her iconic violin! We even wrote a song as the Shalomie Homies based on Revelation 4 that will be on Spotify soon, and Allyson also wrote a song with Marise called “Free to Love” which will be released on that album as well! Since School of Worship, Allyson took a few months back home in Indiana and then launched back to New Zealand to participate in the “Word By Heart” School, which focuses on memorizing Scripture and really letting it transform us from the inside out, and after that school, Allyson will be helping lead the next School of Worship before determining her next steps about what her long-term prospects will be! Truly she’s going to do great things and I’m excited to see where God takes her and how we can support her along the way!!” -Zach
Zachary Silcoff (AfroZach!!)
Hometown: Alberta, Canada
Currently Based in: Thoen District, Thailand
Long-Term Prospects: To serve the Lord wherever He calls in missions, specifically with a huge heart to one day have deep involvement in Japan!
“I met the legendary AfroZach during my time at my Discipleship Training School in Kona, Hawaii and the 2 of us just instantly clicked! Zach is truly a man who is fully after God’s heart, and he has a powerful testimony of how God took him from a difficult family situation growing up and empowered him to now have done missions work in many nations, from the Himalayas, to Japan, to where he is currently, serving with Canaan Ministries in Thailand! Canaan Ministries is run by this amazing couple named PJ & PA and they host mission teams from all over the world to reach the local Thai people and children in their community with the good news of the gospel! Specifically pictured here you can see Zach talking with Yona, a young girl that PJ & PA have adopted into their community, and they have also adopted 10 other kids that came from difficult family situations or backgrounds and have helped them learn what it means to be a family and about God’s love for them! Zach has committed to a year in Thailand serving with this iconic ministry, and then from there, he is seeking God on what will be next! However, unexpected financial needs and visa struggles have continually come up, so any support sent will help Zach stay on the ground and continue to make an impact out in Thailand!” -Zach
